When Eden shivers

The full fled rivers flow to lead us out

To the land of woe, where the earth has folded

Doubled over in doubt

From the mountain to friendly fields.

..bitter as bark

Soaked in the sounds of violence I was

Force fed by the dark.

And it crept from my heart to fingers

which were trying to trace

Your form which I swore still lingered, but just felt like empty space

But I’ve fallen in love with fires

I never will hold

And they speak to me far from somewhere that has burned until it’s cold.

To touch is a trying treasure I’m

Dying to chase

I’d forfeit my favorite pleasures while the world condemns the waste.

Can you wash the stars clean?

For fans and friends otherwise, here is a brief outline of things ahead..exciting new fronts of creative vigilance and fruitful labor:

1. Soon I will have recorded my first EP, a collection of six songs I’ve selected to be the forerunners in this musical venture.  It will spotlight the drumming genius of Casey Joens and the musical stylings of some yet to be determined musical guests.

2. My heart’s desire is to get this collection of songs out into the big, bad world.  I’ve held onto them for a long while, but I think it’s about time people heard them.

3. I’d like you to be as much a part of the process as you are in enjoying the finished project, so here, in this blog, you will find updates, behind the scenes footage, and the meanderings, ponderings, and poetries that make the music happen.
